The time has come when everyone can once again participate in and enjoy the famous sailing events which will be sponsored by Rolex. Rolex has been associated with sailing for many years and Rolex by sponsoring US Sailing will again be organizing some of the sailing events around the year. Rolex, a Swiss watch making company has been promoting sailing events for many years as the sailing brings out the character of strength within sports professionals. Rolex has always believed in being associated with the best as the brand has always brought forth the best in the luxury watches range. Sailing also brings out the best out of the best of the sailors. The sailing involves countless challenges sailors have to face as the weather conditions constantly keep changing. Each sailing event is different and unpredictable. The designs made by Rolex are unpredictable, have simplicity and virtue which attracts people like the sailing event attracts the sailors. The tougher the challenge more is the fun for the sailor and Rolex has brought forward newer challenges for the sailors by launching the 2010 sailing calendar in association with US Sailing. The sailing event which is being sponsored by Rolex is an effort to bring the best sailors from the world to participate in the event. The sailing calendar has been awaited by many sports lovers so that they can enjoy their favorite sport.

The year will be starting with the O’pen BIC Mid-Winter Un-Regatta in Florida. The sailors will test their caliber against the cold winds of the sea and make the most of the unpredictable weather conditions. The O’pen BIC Mid-Winter Un-Regatta will take place from January 16^th to 18^th. The chill in the air because of the weather will be making this regatta a touch regatta to win. Following the O’pen BIC Mid-Winter Un-Regatta is the Orlando Women’s Collegiate Match Race where women will be participating and showing their sailing skills. The Orlando Women’s Collegiate Match Race just shows the passion women have for sailing and their desire to challenge the sea with their skills. The month of February will be equally interesting as the Sperry Top-Sider NOOD Regatta will take place followed by the Charleston Race Week 2010.

The summer months will be getting a flavor of the sea with Antigua Sailing Week. In the Antigua Sailing Week the sailors will enjoy the warm water of the sea and the weather may be less torturous for the sailors. But each sailing event is as unpredictable as the changing weather conditions. But the summer months are filled with events such as U.S. Match Racing Championship Area E Quarterfinal Qualifier and U.S. Youth Multihull Championship. The sailors will enjoy the warmth of the sea as well as enjoy the regatta where they can show off their own boats too. The month of June will see the USA Junior Olympic Sailing Festival –Upper Midwest. Many sailors look forward for this festival as they can be a part of Olympic Sailing events. Equally interesting events will fall in the month of autumn and beginning of the winters. Sailors are looking at this calendar and want to gear up with the sailing boats to sail the sea and feel the blue water. The adventure to cut the blue water with the boat is simply exotic as an experience.
